"Sweetheart"





A one-of-a-kind, early 1950's ensemble that can be worn anywhere. This beautiful fitting dress is made from red and white cotton dotted swiss. The dress is lined in white dupioni silk. White cotton piping is used at the neckline, sleeves, and cummerbund. Bright red suedecloth has been used in the purse, pillbox hat, and flowers that accent the hat and shoes. The purse is trimmed with pearls. The pillbox hat is trimmed with white piping, and a large flower with pearl center. White gloves, and Kingstate shoes trimmed with flowers, and pearl jewelry completes this ensemble. The purse is made using PerfectPatterns "Classic Evening" pattern. The dress was constructed using Marsha Olson's PerfectPatterns #2008 pattern.
