"Regal In Purple"

Dressed for the "perfect" evening - our Diva has chosen the color of royalty! Iridescent purple taffeta, a cross-dye of black and purple threads, creates the ideal fabric for drape placement for the skirt design. The dress is two-pieces. The bodice (bustier) is piped on the outer edges and lined in pale pink dupioni silk. The wrap skirt is self-fabric lined and piped at the waistline. The drape is accentuated with a large vintage iridescent rhinestone with colors of gold, pink, and blue. Marsha Whitt made the crocheted shrug and hat out of an incredible eyelash "yarn". These two pieces can create many options in "looks". The magnificent jewelry comes from Facets by Marcia. Aurora borealis flowers have the same pink, gold, and blue tones. Long purple gloves and a faux leather handbag complete this exotic and glamorous ensemble.
