"Pink Limeade"

Dressed for a spring outing, Cissy wears a colorful and versatile ensemble. "Pink Limeade" is a one-of-a-kind ensemble using dupioni silk and plaid chiffon. The full coat is lined at the collar and front with self-fabric and the back is lined in tulle. All seams are finished. This coat is a unique design. The princess dress is of lime dupioni silk. The bodice is lined in off-white dupioni. The slightly gathered circular skirt is self-lined. The ensemble has two chiffon scarves - one for the hair and one for the dress. The dress has loops to keep the tie in place. A petticoat with a pink Lycra top and combination of net and tulle add fullness to the skirt. Jewelry is made of pale iridescent beads. The white, short gloves have pink flowers embroidered on one side and purple on the other. A lime green suede-cloth "Opera" handbag completes this ensemble. PerfectPattern #2029 was used in the construction of the dress, and the "Opera" handbag pattern was used for the purse.
