"Holly" began her life as a Simply Gene Blonde until Jeana Stewart-Deihl of "Repaints by Jeana" applied her magic and created "Holly". She has been given glorious green eyes using several shades of green, brown and gold. Her eye shadow is an iridescent blend of light taupe with a hint of green to match her eyes. Her eyebrows were repainted to match her hair color better and feathered to look more realistic. Her lips are painted a beautiful, festive true red with just the hint of a smile added to the sides of her mouth. After all, who wouldn't be smiling in this gorgeous gown and sleigh? Her long hair has been swept to one side with cascading curls.
This one-of-a-kind presentation is perfect for the Christmas holiday season or she can be shown throughout the year in her elegant ensemble. She wears a Kelly green silk taffeta dress, which is fully lined with self-fabric. The front panel is gold lame and gold metallic ribbon is sewn down the panel sides. Beautiful green vintage crystal rhinestones in two sizes are sewn on the ribbon. A crinoline of dark green net adds fullness to the skirt.
The lush dark-green rayon velvet cape is an adaptation of Madeleine Vionnet's pattern #34, page 200-201 in Betty Kirke's book. The cape is lined in the green silk taffeta and the tassel is made using black, green, gold and silver metallic threads. Rhinestones are sewn at the hood tip and the "button" at the cape front closure.
A choker necklace, earrings and bracelet are made using vintage rhinestones and Austrian crystals. Gold opera length gloves and gold shoes complete her exquisite ensemble.
Her holiday sleigh is ivory metal with gold brushed highlights. Seasonal greenery, packages, small toys, two teddy bears, and a helpful elf all setting on white faux fur seats help to create a truly unique holiday display.
