"Coral Day"

"Coral Day" is a one-of-a-kind ensemble using raw silk and cashmere. The dress is lined in beige dupioni silk. The coat and fringed scarf are coral cashmere; the coat is lined in an iridescent dupioni silk. The dress is designed to skim the body, the fabric colors consist of coral, dark and pale purple, orange, red, blue, beige, pink, and green. Jewelry consists of long gold and pearl two-string necklace and earrings of pearls with amethyst chips. A Ron Rhinestones' amethyst dragonfly pin adorns the coat. Granny glasses give her a little more "intellectual" look in case she wants to play a joke. A dark purple faux snakeskin "Opera" bag and a pair of Madame Alexander's purple faux snakeskin shoes complete this ensemble. PerfectPattern #2029 was used in the construction of the dress and the "Opera" handbag pattern was used for the handbag.
