"Coco's Coat"

This is a one-of-a-kind coat made from an olive chenille velvet. The lining and piping is made using an iridescent teal and lime silk taffeta. A teal crepe de chine silk scarf has been embroidered with an initial and bound with olive rayon thread. The blue shoes and bag are made of suedecloth and trimmed with Austrian crystals. The coat has iridescent flower beads for buttons. Blue lycra gloves complete this ensemble.The coat was constructed using a modified version of Marsha Olson's PerfectPatterns Convention Special 2000, #4 of 6, pattern. The handbag was constructed using Marsha Olson's Opera style kit pattern.
