"Begin Again"

A one-of-a-kind dress-suit. This classic long-sleeve, slim skirt dress is made from vintage taupe silk shantung and lined in dupioni silk. It is trimmed with clear, silver-lined vintage seed-beads and rhinestones on the collar and cuffs. (The hand beading copies the original design of the vintage dress used for fabric.) The dress has vintage rhinestone "buttons" and a matching ultrasuede belt with rhinestone buckle. The dress has an ultrasuede caplet lined in dupioni silk and trimmed with vintage seed beads. Accessories include a PerfectPatterns "Classic Evening" bag, trimmed with beads and a rhinestone; brown Kingstate shoes, taupe gloves, and crystal earrings and hair ornament. Marsha Olson's PerfectPatterns #2001 pattern was used in the construction of this ensemble.
