"Ascot"

This one-of-a-kind dress is made from black with white embroidered cotton. The designer added additional embroidery to the sleeve cuffs and neckline trim. The sleeves and bodice are made using white vintage cotton organdy. The bodice and peplum are also lined in this organdy. The peplum is irregularly shaped and has a snap closure at the side. Antique glass beads are used as trim on the peplum as well as tri-cut glass seed beads for trim on the bodice and side closure. Her hat is made from a vintage hat, using the crown that has been beaded with the tri-cut beads over the ribbon design. She has black and white ribbon shoes, white gloves, a small faux leather black bag, and mini roses for earrings.
